Clinical Practicum 3 (RESP 294)
This course provides the student with a clinical practicum experience in a neonatal-pediatric critical care setting with emphasis placed on the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical clinical experience as it pertains to the practice of advanced pediatric patient cardiopulmonary assessment, intensive care unit monitoring, mechanical ventilators, advanced ventilation techniques, and airway management using critical thinking skills and effective problem solving. Prerequisites: RESP 220, RESP 221 and RESP 292. Typically offered Fall only.
