A foundations course for RLM majors and other students wishing to gain a broad perspective about leisure studies and recreation services. Emphasis on leisure theory, history of leisure and recreation, international aspects of leisure, leisure lifestyle throughout the life span, philosophy, social and economic impacts of leisure, current issues, future trends, and leisure/recreational service sectors.
