The Environment and Experiential Ed

Experiential education takes place in natural, cultural, or social
environments where students engage intellectually, emotionally, socially, politically, spiritually, and physically in their learning. Using this information this course is designed to engage participants in the development of program materials for various ages/grade levels in public schools and in nature or outdoor centers. Students investigate concepts and principles of environmental and cultural interpretation. Lesson plans, articles for
outdoor/environmental journals or newsletters, and field trips are part of this course.
