Outdoor/Adventure Ed Methods/Practice

Students learn about the application of the process of teaching, learning, and leading outdoor pursuits and adventure education/therapy. Program theory, instructional design, leadership techniques, and safety management principles are examined. The idea of using adventure as a means to human growth and development has become an accepted methodology in education, leadership training, counseling and corrections as well as in other human service fields.
