Rubber Product Design (RUBR 312)
In this course, the student will study the concepts of part design beginning with the definition of the ""Customer/End-Use Requirements"", through the ""Design Cycle"" guidelines and product application. Special emphasis will be given to understanding the role of the following elements of rubber product design: material selection, prototyping, part drawing, rubber part design basics, part quality, relationship of tool design to part design, part costing and other.
