Foundations of Practice (SCWK 240)
Various theories of human behavior and social environment and how they relate to social work practice. Relationships among biological, social, psychological, and cultural systems as they affect the ""person-in-environment"" and as they constitute a pluralistic society. Understandings of behavior and society from perspective of the humanities as well as the sciences. Corequisite: SCWK 220 and SOCY 225. Pre-Requisites: BIOL 101 or 109 or 111; & PSYC 226 or EDUC 251.
