Gender Roles in Society * RS

The study of male and female behaviorial patterns in society. Emphasis is on the description and explanation of the male and female experiences in various institutional contexts, and on gender role changes in society. Focuses on gender roles in the United States. Cross-national variations are considered for points of comparison. This course meets General Education requirements: Social Awareness, Race/Ethnicity/and or Gender Issues.

Requires:

SOCY 121 or SOCY 122 or ANTH 122
