Sociological Theory *S

This course introduces students to contemporary developments in sociological theory with a foundation in the classical roots of sociological theory. Students will explore the three major schools of thought-functional, conflict, interaction-in greater depth. This will involve a brief history of sociological ideas along with the intellectual backgrounds, thoughts, assumptions, and critiques of important classical and modern sociological theorists.

Requires:

SOCY 121 and Sociology students only
