Why Choose the Special Event and Meeting Planning Minor?
The Special Event and Meeting Planning minor is designed to provide meeting and event planning professionals as well as those entering the field the skills and foundation of knowledge that is needed to excel in this multi-billion dollar industry. This is an excellent addition for Hospitality program students, College of Business majors, Communication majors, and all Bachelor degree students.
Admission Requirements
Any person who is admitted to a Ferris State University Bachelor’s degree program is welcome to seek the attainment of this minor in addition to their major.
Graduation Requirements
A Ferris student will receive this minor after completion of the requirements for the minor with a minimum 2.0 grade point average in the minor courses.
No more than 50% of the credits required for this minor may be transferred from another institution, nor will this minor be granted if more than six of the minor credits are specifically required in the student’s major.
