Policy
Ferris State University (FSU) including Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) accepts transfer credit from regionally accredited institutions when the coursework is deemed equivalent to an FSU or KCAD course or general transfer credit.
Transfer credits from non-regionally accredited institutions, foreign institutions, and institutions which grant credit for experiential learning and for non-traditional adult learner programs will be accepted when the coursework is deemed equivalent to an FSU or KCAD course or general transfer credit.
The Transfer Services Center (TSC) coordinates, in consultation with the respective college, department and/or program to review all potential and current course equivalencies. Requests to have transfer credit fulfill requirements in a major, minor, concentration, or certificate are subject to the approval of the college, department or program.
