CITS 280 - Linux Administration


Provides a comprehensive overview of the Linux operating system through exploration of various distributions in both CLI and GUI shells. Various system administration tasks will be performed, including file management, permissions, and system security. Best practices will be incorporated, including fault tolerance, standardization, and documents. Students will explore licensing agreements and the impact of Open Source Software. Typically Offered Spring.
