GMAN 351 - Project Est and Cost Analysis


A course designed to give the student a working knowledge of estimating the cost of a job in the graphic media industry. Involves the estimating of materials and labor relative to current industry practices for 5the production of a printed product. Emphasis will be on estimating by analyzing the product to be produced and deciding the most economical ways of production. Students will be introduced to the use of cost controls used in Graphic Media. The course includes break-even charts, budgeted hourly rates, cash flow projection, return-on-investment analysis, budget forecasting, and contribution analysis. Typically offered Spring.
