HIST 375 - Modern Latin AmericaExploration, conquest, and colonization of South and Central America, and a history of the cultural, economic, political, social, and military history of colonial Latin America through the wars for independence. Development of the social and political structure of Latin American nations in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
