LITR 280 - Intro American Folklore


In order to read, understand, enjoy, and reflect upon various narratives and genres of American Folklore, students will examine the literature from multiple perspectives such as anthropology, sociology, folklore, and literature as well exploring folklore theories and the cultural role of tradition. Students will interact with literature, the instructor, and classmates through analyses, interactive activities, observations, discussions, and research.
