LITR 323 - ShakespeareIn order to understand the relationship between literature and the historical/cultural contexts in which Shakespeare's works were written, students examine Shakespeare's poetry and dramas, including the comedies, histories, and tragedies, and address the characterization, literary craftsmanship, and major themes. Students read and interact with literature, the instructor, and classmates through interpretation, analyses, collaborative activities, observations, discussions, and research.
