Students will model and solve problems involving differentiation and integration of algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions, using technology regularly to assist with experimentation, computation, and interpreting results. A multi-representational approach will be emphasized with concepts, problems, and results being expressed graphically, numerically, analytically, and verbally. Appropriate for students who do not plan to continue the study of calculus, but want a fundamental understanding of calculus and hands-on applications that they can relate to.
