MGMT 377 - Managing a Global Workforce


The management of people may be the most critical component of a firm's ability to implement its strategy effectively and compete in an increasingly complex and dynamic global economy. Beginning with understanding the dimensions and consequences of globalization, this course will offer students the opportunity to enhance their understanding of global organizations, and through project and assignment based assessment, allow them to develop critical skills in applying concepts from HRM in a global business context. Meets General Education requirements: Global Consciousness and new Fall 2017 Global Diversity. Typically Offered Spring Only
