PHAR 523 - Dosage Forms & Biopharmaceutic


This course will cover the application of physicochemical properties to pharmaceutical dosage forms and drug delivery as well as basic biopharmaceutical and pharmacokinetics of drugs delivered via the parenteral, transdermal, rectal, vaginal, intrauterine, ophthalmic, topical, and pulmonary routes. Manufacturing/compounding and quality attributes of each type of dosage form will also be covered. Biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetic principles will be introduced as they become relevant.
