PHAR 524 - Dosage Forms & Pharmacokinetic


This course will cover the application of physicochemical properties to pharmaceutical dosage forms and drug delivery. Formulation, biopharmaceutical, and pharmacokinetic principles of dosage forms used to deliver drugs the oral and nasal routes of administration. The manufacturing/compounding and quality attributes of each type of dosage form will also be covered. Pharmacokinetic principles and models introduced in this course will be built on to include more advanced principles and models. Typically offered: Spring
