PHAR 587 - Pharmacy Skills&Patient Care 1This course will provide students an opportunity to develop foundational skills necessary for modern practice as a pharmacist. Students will be introduced to non-sterile compounding, clinical calculations, and basic physical assessment. An overview of the JCPP Patient Care Process, with emphasis on the communication-focused aspects of the process, will take place. The course will focus on community pharmacy practice and will involve discussion of the top 200 prescription medications.
