PPET 211 - Intro to Injection Molding


This course will provide the student with knowledge and experience in solving common problems encountered running injection molding production equipment. The course seeks to relate the machine control parameters to their effects on the process and ultimately to the final part quality. The student will set-up processes for production runs. Added emphasis will be placed on primary troubleshooting and process optimization. Typically offered in Spring.
