SENG 620 - Autonomous Vehicle Engineering

This course introduces fundamental concepts of Autonomous Vehicle (AV) implementation. The course discusses various engineering concepts required to understand and produce AV software prototypes. This includes introducing topics like object detection, traffic detection, traveling path planning, traffic scenario management, and localization and accurate placement. The course uses software simulators to illustrate and implement case studies for the topics covered. The course will apply major machine learning concepts and techniques in addition to other algorithm design concepts to tackle engineering problems related to vehicle autonomy. Typically offered Fall, Spring, Summer.
