Discusses the codes of ethics which have been adopted by many engineering societies. Explain meaning and attributes of professionalism along with the ethical, moral, and social responsibilities of technologists and engineers. Also standards, law, safety, risks, obligations of loyalty to employer, professional client relationship, global awareness, bribery, contracts, and intellectual property are discussed. This course meets General Education requirements: Cultural Enrichment and new Fall 2017 Culture. Typically Offered Fall and Spring.
