TDMP 315 - Live Streaming and Recording


In this course, students will learn how to setup live streaming environments at home studios to stream on professional platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer. Furthermore, students will be introduced to audio, video, and screen recording, along with the appropriate hardware, file types, software, framework, and settings involved in professional A/V recording in esports related contexts. (Students are required to have access to a computer with a broadband connection, webcam, and microphone.) By the conclusion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate a live streaming setup from a home studio. Students will be able to record their streams and backup data. Typically offered Fall, Spring, Summer.
