EXSI 499 - Capstone in Exercise Science


This capstone course is designed for senior exercise science students to integrate and apply knowledge from their coursework to address complex problems in the field. Students may engage in research projects, develop comprehensive exercise programs, and demonstrate professional behavior and ethical decision-making through practical experiences. Students review information and hone skills required for professional certification in the field of exercise science. The course includes a series of presentations, workshops, and practical experiences to support students in developing and presenting their final projects. Emphasis is placed on critical evaluation and application of scientific literature, preparing for professional certification and professional practice, or further education. Typically offered in Spring.
