LDSP 400 - Strategic and Transformational Leadership


In today's rapidly changing business environment, leaders are not just leaders butvisionaries who can guide organizations through periods of transformation. This course will provide students with an in-depth understanding of leadership in the context of strategic decision-making and organizational transformation.Students will explore how leaders can craft vision, inspire followers, and facilitate change in both stable and volatile environments. Additionally, students will draw on a rich blend of case studies, academic research, and real-world examples to examine the distinctions and overlaps between strategic and transformational leadership, understanding their implications for various organizational scenarios. By the end of this course, students will be equipped with a robust toolkit of leadership strategies and approaches, ready to navigate and lead in dynamic organizational landscapes.
