BIOL 350 - Plants and Fungi


This course will examine the biology of plants and fungi from a systematic perspective. Lectures will address essential aspects of plant and fungal biology, including evolution, morphology, anatomy, physiology, and ecology. Labs will utilize a hands-on approach to taxonomy, plant propagation and microscopy, and field trips will be utilized to demonstrate plant community structure and field identification of Michigan's plants marcofungi. Typically offered Spring.
