FREN 302 - Advanced French 2


This course is the continuation of Advanced French 1 (FREN 301) and seeks to continue strengthening students' communicative abilities in French in the four language skills essential to everyday communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as to enhance the students' knowledge of French­speaking world cultures and societies. Classroom activities and homework are designed to help students build their oral proficiency, expand and perfect vocabulary knowledge and grammatical structures, improve reading and writing skills, to develop critical thinking, and gain cultural competency. Throughout the semester students will research and analyze different types of authentic texts in French and produce written assignments. This course meets General Education requirements: Cultural Enrichment, and new Fall 2017 Culture. Pre-Requisite: FREN 301 with a grade of D­or better. Typically Offered Spring Only
