HIST 363 - Imperial RussiaCourse explores rise of Russian imperialism between Peter the Great (1682-1725) and Catherine the Great(1762-1796), during which time Russia gained significant territory at the expense of its neighbors. Examinethe social, political, economic, and cultural forces that led to Russia's rise and the development of a Russian national consciousness. This course meets General Education requirements: Cultural Enrichment and new Fall 2017 Culture. Typically Offered Fall only.
