KCPD 235 - Metals/Jewelry Design I


Students will be introduced to the materials and processes of metalsmithing through technical demonstrations, design exercises, and the creation of their own original works. Students will undertake short historical, trend, and original research projects, technique samples, work through ideas with form generation studies, and execute finished jewelry and other small metal product forms in metal.
