MRIS 103 - Medical Terminology

Terminology of disease, condition, operative pathology, radiology, surgery, operative procedure and technique, surgical instruments, diagnostic tests, therapeutic treatments, anesthetic agents, pharmacologic agents, oncology, nuclear medicine, and other specialized areas of medicine. Lab time will be used for Case Studies - students will apply new knowledge to understanding medical terms in their proper contexts, such as medical reports and records.
