PLSC 221 - American Political PartiesOrigin, structure, types, functions, and development of political parties, and the corresponding role of interest groups and public opinion in the United States. Critical evaluation of the ways political parties provide opportunities and leadership for a variety of groups and individuals to participate in the election, governing, and policy processes.
