RELG 326 - Western Religions


An introduction to the religions and cultures of the Western world, this course considers critically, in light of their historical, cultural, philosophical, and doctrinal evolution the three monotheistic religions that derive from the ancient Near East, and which constitute the principal religious heritage of the western world: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This course meets General Education Requirement: Cultural Enrichment and new Fall 2017 Culture. Typically Offered Spring, Summer, Fall.
