SPAN 201 - Intermediate Spanish 1This course is designed to expand on the vocabulary and grammatical structures introduced in beginning Spanish 1 and 2. This course provides students with engaging opportunities for a more active experience in the development of the four language skills essential to everyday communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. Students will develop linguistic proficiency and cultural knowledge through the study and discussion of authentic readings in culture and societies of the Spanish-speaking world, writing compositions, and conversations in meaningful contexts.This course meets General Education requirements: Global Consciousness; Cultural Enrichment, and new Fall 2017 Global Diversity; Culture.
