ESPN 422 - Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities


This course examines the theoretical and research bases for understanding how to teach the student with learning disabilities. Explores the nature of learning and how social and environmental factors influence its development. Looks at how focusing on the differences among learners can influence their education. Provides an overview of methodologies/strategies, as it pertains to a student with learning disabilities. Students are required to complete 40 hours of field work with students with learning disabilities. Typically offered in Fall,Spring and Summer
