ESPN 424 - Assessing Students With Learning Disabilities


This course will provide students with the knowledge of formal and informal assessments used to determine eligibility, interventions and strategies for students with learning disabilities. Following the review of assessments students will administer and interpret results to establish curricular goals students. Students will also learn strategies to monitor progress and make the appropriate adjustments to instruction based on assessment results. Students will be required to complete 40 hours of field work with students with learning disabilities. Typically offered in Fall and Spring
