PHAR 802 - Ambulatory Care APPE


This course will provide the student with an opportunity to provide patient centered care in an ambulatory care setting. Skills emphasized will be communication, drug information provision, monitoring of patient outcomes, drug therapy assessment, and patient/health care provider education. Students must successfully pass and complete all required P1-P3 major requirement courses, didactic elective course requirements, co-curricular assignments, and patient care skills passport assessments to enroll in this course. Typically offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
