RMIN 200 - Foundations Risk Mgmt & Insur


This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of enterprise risk management and insurance, with a focus on identifying, analyzing, and treating risk in both personal and commercial contexts.  Students will learn the risk management process, types of risk, risk treatments, and gain foundational knowledge of insurance as a key risk financing technique.  The course also introduces modern tools and technologies used in the risk management process. Typically offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
