PSYC 305 - Sport PsychologyThis course provides an overview of the major methods, theories, and applications of sport psychology. Students will examine how psychological factors can affect athletic performance, how athletes' performances can be improved via psychological interventions, and how participation in sports can affect development and well-being. Topics covered include personality, motivation, anxiety, self-confidence, psychological skills training, team dynamics, coaching techniques, injury and rehabilitation, and youth sports.
