PUBH 540 - Cultural Div & Comp in PH Prac

This course is designed to provide the graduate student with the opportunity to explore the complex concepts of how cultural diversity can impact the delivery of public health services. Students will also have the opportunity to gain the skills necessary to provide culturally competent public health services that strive for access to all populations. Emerging public health issues, public health professional ethics, health informatics, communication, and their applications in practice settings will be discussed. Typically offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
