SCWK 380 - International Social Work This 2 week study abroad course in Latin America enhances the preparation of competent social work practitioners in both domestic and international arenas of social welfare. Through service learning they will explore themes of social welfare development and human rights, demonstrating the relationships between social work, social justice, and civic/global responsibility. Students will develop a global perspective of social work practice, enrich their multicultural experiences and increase their awareness of the interconnectedness of international issues. Typically offered Summer. Level: UG Credit Hours: 3
