DSAN 780 - Predictive Analytics

This class uses techniques and algorithms to extract information and create knowledge from large datasets using software applications. Tools include features selection and dimensionality reduction. Students will build predictive models using multiple linear regression, logistic regression, neural networks, and other classifiers. Students will also learn how to structure text data, prepare it, and use it in modeling to create better models. Finally, students will assess models and create ensembles. Typically offered Fall, Spring, Summer.
