DSGN 212 - Visual Communication This course introduces students to specific methods in the creation and development of concepts that address visual problem-solving. It focuses on creating multiple initial design concepts, the evaluation and refinement of those, and the development of iterations in a chosen direction. The course will investigate the narrative in visual information delivery. It will review research methods relevant to visual problem solving. It will also introduce and oversee the professional development of a portfolio and its presentation. Typically offered Fall. Level: UG Credit Hours: 3
