EDPH 521 - Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector

This course is an overview of the purpose, structure, size and scope of thenonprofit sector. Especially designed for educators, it will briefly coverthe philosophical, social, religious and historic origins of the sector in theAmerican Democracy. The economic, social and political effects of the sectorwill be explored in depth. Typically offered Spring.
