EDUC 289 - Principles Teaching - Learning This course applies psychological principles that are applicable to teaching and learning in the learning environment. Specific emphasis is placed on learning theory, social, emotional and physical development, student motivation, exceptional learners, gender, cultural, linguistic and other diverse needs of students. Additional topics include the use of technology, online experiences, critical thinking, and other appropriate psychological applications as they apply to instruction. A 15- hour field experience is required. Meets General Education requirements for Collaboration and Problem Solving. Typically Offered Fall, Spring, Summer Level: UG Credit Hours: 3
