ENGL 211 - Industrial and Career Writing To prepare students to write successfully as industrial employees or first-line supervisors, this course includes standard forms of business and technological writing to assist in the development of sound communication practices. Students generate basic texts applicable to career and industrial audiences and purposes using current, field-specific source data and appropriate, multimodal documentation and design strategies for workplace communication. Meets General Education requirements for Communication Competence and Written Communication. Pre-Requisites: ENGL 150 with a grade of C- or better. Level: UG Credit Hours: 3
