ENGL 260 - Introduction - English Studies


The purpose of this course is to provide students with a framework for discussing,analyzing, and writing critically about texts in a variety of forms and genres. Students develop an awareness of and appreciation for conventions, contexts, theoretical bases, terminology, and scholarship of the discipline. Students engage in individual and collaborative problem-solving activities, which may include analyses, observations,discussions, and scholarly research.
