GEOG 424 - Current Global Problems

Studies which focus on the great variety of situations involving human use and abuse of the planet. Possible topics for study include: over population, hunger, agricultural innovations, the diversity of environmental degradation, natural hazards, human conflicts, energy concerns and possible solutions. This course meets General Education requirements: Social Awareness, Global Consciousness and new Fall 2017 Self and Society, and Global Diversity. Recommended one prior Social Awareness course.
