ARTS 101 - Introduction to Art

This course will cover basic art skills such as form, shading and value, beginning color theory and 1-, 2- and 3-point perspective as well as developing skills in creativity and proficiency in craft. We will also explore drawing with several kinds of media, including graphite, charcoal, colored pencil and ink techniques. In addition, there will be beginning lessons in aesthetics and art history. This course meets the General Education Cultural Enrichment requirement. Typically Offered On Demand.
