BIOL 476 - Biomedical Research Techniques The first course in a multi-course sequence designed to train students to performtechniques commonly used in biomedical and biotechnology laboratories. The course includes training inapplications of GLP, microscopy, metabolic modeling, PCR/qPCR, and chromatography. Laboratory applicationsof these topics will utilize animal models and students will gain practical experience required for conductinganimal-based research including the appropriate and humane handling of laboratory animals.
